TARRYALL FISHING CLUB, INC.
2025 Rules and Policies
Policy: The Tarryall Fishing Club, Inc. (TFC, Inc.) is owned and managed by Stagestop and Lost Park Ranch and has been formed to manage and stock those portions of the Tarryall River and Ponds for the benefit of property owners in Stagestop, Lost Park Ranch, and other members, if any, of the TFC, Inc. The membership will be owners of tracts in Stagestop and Lost Park Ranch. The intent is not to over-crowd the river at any time, and memberships will be restricted in order to maintain that objective. Rules and policies are subject to change as necessity dictates.
Membership: Membership is limited to lot owners and their legal dependents (one membership per lot). As stated in the Bylaws of Tarryall Fishing Club, Inc., “No owner shall have more than one (1) membership per lot. Multiple ownership for the purpose of using the fishing rights is a violation of the intent and purpose of the privileged use of the fishing rights.” Memberships by themselves are not transferable or sellable. They pass on to new owners at the closing of a property sale in Stagestop or Lost Park Ranch.
Warning: Violations of rules may be grounds for suspension. Failure of members or their guests to follow TFC Rules and Policies will result in the issuance of a “TFC Rules and Policies Violation Letter” to the sponsoring member(s). In any consecutive 2-year period, the penalties for violations are as follows:
- First Violation: Warning Letter
- Second Violation: $50.00 Fine
- Third & Subsequent Violations: $100.00 Fine (each occurrence)
Failure to pay a fine as outlined in the issued “TFC Rules and Policies Violation Letter” may result in temporary suspension of the member’s fishing rights. During temporary suspension, a member or his/her guests continuing to fish the TFC Leased Waters as well as the LPR pond or the SS ponds will be considered “Trespassing” and subject to civil trespassing charges.
Rules: Be considerate of others.
- Dues will be paid to the respective Homeowner’s Association (HOA).
- TFC membership cards, hangtags, and guest passes will be issued annually after Lost Park Ranch Owners Association (LPROA) and Stagestop Owners Association (SOA) provide TFC a list of dues-paid members.
- A TFC hangtag, two membership cards, and four 1-day guest passes will be issued after the receipt of dues by SOA and LPROA. Additional guest passes may be obtained by dues-paid members for a fee, good only for one person for any one day. Guest passes and membership cards must be signed by the owner and completed in ink to be valid.
- Fishing club members will display a TFC hangtag on their vehicle and carry their membership card whenever fishing. Wearing of membership cards and guest passes on external clothing is highly encouraged.
- Guest Passes: Guests age 16 and over must have a Guest Pass. Anyone under age 16 does not need a pass but must be in the company of a member carrying a Membership Card or a guest age 16 and over carrying a Guest Pass. Guest Passes are restricted to nonpaying guests of the listed property owner on the pass. Renters and/or lessees may not be provided or use a Guest Pass, and Guest Passes may not be sold, offered or used as an enticement or benefit associated with any rental or lease of a member-owned residence or lot.
- All persons, age 16 and older, must have a Colorado Fishing License and abide by all fishing rules of the State of Colorado.
- Catch limits are 2 per adult per day and 2 per child per day.
- Three access points exist along the river in addition to access from the firehouse area at Stagestop and the pond near Stagestop owned by LPROA. No other access is permitted. Signs mark access points.
- The easement for fishing club members is 20 feet either side of the river except where limited by lease limitation agreement.
- Members are encouraged to patrol the river and ponds (to check for valid membership cards and guest passes). In the performance of this duty, please be courteous and respectful of those you meet and challenge.
